A Colt is my passport
拳銃は俺のパスポート
"A Colt Is My Passport" is the epitome of cool machismo. In a hardboiled Japanese film noir that stars Joe "the Ace" Shishido and Jerry Fujio, director Takashi Nomura captures the core essence of the Yakuza world: cold hearted violence and honor. Japanese classics such as "Lupin the Third" and legendary actor Yusaku Matsuda's "Game" series were all inspired by this very film.
Kamimura (Joe Shishido) was a gifted hit man, known to take out targets without blinking an eye. When the mob boss hires him to exterminate the rival group leader, he follows his order with ease - a job done perfectly. But his plans to escape the country with his sidekick Shun (Jerry Fujio) fall through - the dead man's loyal henchmen had blocked their way at the airport. Kamimura and Shun had just bought themselves a one-way ticket to hell.
