A wrong diagnosis makes the girl find a new way to love.
Mitsu meets Tsutomu on Christmas and spends the night with him. But their happiness comes to an end quickly when Mitsu is diagnosed with leprosy, and needs to be transferred to a sanitarium. Tsutomu dare not visit her. Fortunately, the pitiable Mitsu is warmly welcomed from the people in the sanitarium. She decides to stay there even after finding out her diagnosis was mistaken. She realizes her own identity, however, one day a letter from the sanitarium reaches Tsutomu.
