"A dark mystery set in a strange hotel where people on the border between life and death visit as guests.
It is based on the fourth escape adventure novel game by SEEC inc.
As in the game, each individual episode is self-contained, where the main character, Neko, with the help of the hotel staff, searches the rooms for items related to the preferences and actions of the guests in their present lives, and unravels their lost memories.
Meanwhile, the overarching myth arc of why regular characters such as Neko, Atori, and Ruri ended up at the hotel, and the existence of the murderer Masaki Osoto, who is behind everything, will be depicted throughout the 12 episodes. The hidden, gruesome truth will gradually be revealed as each episode progresses.
The original game has been rereleased and merchandised in Japan, and English and Korean version are also playable."

"At the Tasokare Hotel, there is perpetual dusk, with no day or night.
It is a resting place for souls who have not yet decided whether to go to the afterlife or return to the world of the living.
The main character, Neko Tsukahara, who has no recollection of why she is wandering between life and death, is assigned by the manager to work as the hotel’s caretaker.

As Neko helps the strange and mysterious customers, including a person with a pinball for a head, a masked couple, and Pansy Head regain their memories, a certain incident leads her to develop an ambition.
