Black Coffee
The spirit, hope, and life struggles of a middle-aged blind couple.
In the Gayo Highlands of Aceh, Onot and Rabiah, a blind couple, live from their small coffee plantation. Their days move through touch, memory, and routine, shaping a life of dignity and independence while sharing a deep longing for a child. When Rabiah finally becomes pregnant after years of struggle, hope enters their world, along with fear of uncertainty of a new life who may inherit darkness. As the pregnancy progresses, joy turns into tension, until hope is met with a devastating fate.
