Throughout his career, director Shohei Imamura has compiled a catalog of radical films. From "Black Rain" to "Vengeance Is Mine", Imamura's films have constantly pushed the envelope; challenging and questioning the norms of Japanese society. In a dynamic post-war satire that depicts rampant criminality and ill-fated romance, Imamura casts two Nikkatsu greats, Hiroyuki Nagato and Yoko Minamida.
